Escandonia

In addition to being a cafeteria with a vegetarian menu and having organic products available from Mexican entrepreneurs, Escandonia works as a workshops of all kinds (from binding to embroidery) and a forum for small cultural events. But not everything ends there: on weekends they turn into a bar and offer gins, wine and craft beers.

The lack of organic products in the zone was the first impulse for Paloma and Macarena, who came from Argentina, to open this space in Colonia Escandón. The menu is brief and simple, but its specialty is the bread that they bake themselves, including the famous Facturas (Argentinian bread). You can’t leave without ordering the muffins, the vegan burger or the prosciutto sandwich.
