The former Palacio de Comunicaciones y Obras Públicas (Palace of Communication and Public Works) and one of the city’s most important architectonic works; since 1982, it has been home to a vast amount of artworks produced in Mexico between the second half of the 16th Century and the first half of the 20th Century, allowing us to see a part of the country’s history during those periods.

The Museo Nacional de Arte (National Art Museum) is a work of art in itself so just imagine, on top of that, the works of great artists adorning its walls: José María Velasco, Saturnino Herrán, Alfredo Ramos Martínez, Gerardo Murillo (Dr. Atl), José Clemente Orozco, María Izquierdo, Diego Rivera, and many more.
